The Museum focuses on the personal life of one of our greatest heroes and leader of the Province’s history. In this museum, you can also enjoy imagining the provincial  social and political status through the memorabilia of vintage pictures
         



The new museum also narrates the life, career, and achievements of Sen Bindoy, other things you could see his writing Table, 1935 Philippine Constitution important documents, Congress books, old chessboard tables, walking cane, old postcards, and family Tree history.

The event was also the birthday of his grandson Jaime Jesus Villanueva. The  Pillars of the Villanueva family were all present in this occasion.Steven Villanueva a famous agriculturist with daughter NORSU Tourism Professor Stella Villanueva -
Llera ,former Dumaguete Tourism Officer Iolani Villegas Carballo,Vivian and husband Fiscal Diosdado D. Hermosa, Judge Candelario Gonzalez and daughter Judge Kay Gonzalez-Pasicaran,MOciot and Ula Villanueva,Mercy Aguilar Villanueva , Marina Vicenta Joy Diago , Chicay Diago,Liza Villanueva, Faye Villanueva-Velasco, former  Bais Mayor Boy and Lizbeth Teves Villanueva, Andrea Baena Alviola ,Rho Villanueva Soler,Ana Marie Yoldi Teves,Family Historian Penn T. Larena and Ana Maria “Gay”Abilla the Program host of the Opening Ceremony .

                     



The  Hacienda House hosted other VIP, family  & relatives  from Dumaguete and
around the world like Country Director for ADB Indonesia Winfried Wicklein and wife Irene ,  Board Member Jessica Jane Villanueva, NOPA Sugar Planters Caloy & wife Nina Sinco Teves, Tirso Teves, Jorge Teves Rotea ,Antonio & Chiqui Sagarbarria Yoldi, Binggot Yoldi, Businessman Arthur Pinili and Danny Dionaldo .Arts & Culture  prime movers  Christine Torres-Pasigna ,DUFAS President Toby Sinco Dichoso and DUFAS Trustee Pichina Teves





According to the great-granddaughter  Irene Villanueva Wicklein in establishing this museum our young generation will appear our rich history and heritage of people in our province, when you travel the first stop will always be a Museum.

To learn more and enjoy better the museum, it would help you learn a bit about his life, family, and achievements as a great leader. Department of Education 
Secretary Leonor Magtolis-Briones  encourages teachers to emphasize local heroes in history, social studies lessons., Briones also encouraged teachers to tap local references to elaborate discussions on the local heroes and revolution leaders.
