Remembering Rizal in Dumaguete

In Dumaguete City, the commemoration, held at Quezon Park, was spearheaded by the Order of the Knights of Rizal Negros Oriental Chapter and the Rizal Youth Club of Silliman University. Wreath Laying  Ceremony Quezon Park Rizal historian Renante Lingcong. Speakers included former Ambassador MacArthur Flores Corsino,Prof. Penn T. Larena  and Rizal historian Renante Lingcong. Sir Penn T .Larena, KOR, D eputy CHAPTER commander Contributing to the success of the celebration were Mayor  Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, Councilor Agustin Miguel Araneta Perdices, the City Tourism Office headed by Jacqueline Veloso Antonio, the Office of Senior Citizens Affairs, General Services Office, the City Sound System and Cafe Mamias.
