Concert for the Children of Buglas

February started with a musical concert for the benefit of the children of Dreams project for the Arts Philippines and to help the children of Buglas for the art Projects. International Jazz Artist Jojo van Oeveren , Broadway Actor and Stage Director Miguel C. Braganza,Asian Singing tenor champion Prof. Manolito E. Saldivar and young performers of today’s generation gave us a two hours of awesome OPM and Broadway musical treat  in the beautiful Claire Isabel McGill Luce Auditorium.

The concert was full pack of Arts and Culture advocates led by Mayor Ipe Remollo, Hon. Jessica “IKAY” Villanueva, Hon. Mariant Escaño Villegas,Penn T.Larena,Rose Stapel,Eva and Greg Villegas, Nora & Buddy Ravello, Fe Amor,Alex & Tichie Baena , Ma. Luisa Villanueva, Roche Villaluz Kho, Dennis & Leslie Claire Tirambulo, Moses Joshua B. Atega, Monsi & Johanna Diago, Tata Justiniani Villanueva, Meg Doromal ,Jennifer Tilos, Marietta Jambora and Jing Arnaez. Proceeds of the concert will go to children's organizations, namely, Beach Sports Kids of Dumaguete, Oriental Negros Children's Advocacy Network (ONCAN), Street of Dreams Projects, and Woodward Little Theatre.

Special guests include Krizza-Ann Gaudia Ablir, John Ras, SDC Twins, Kioskoboyz, Broadway kids and teen’s club, Ladies of Dumaguete, the Pito Minis, Zboli Babes, John Rocamora, MEV Dance Company, Skip Dance Family, Puretone, COPVA Talents, and other local talents and winners of annual Sidlakan Star of the Provincial Government.

Baisanon singing champion Krizza-Ann Gaudia Ablir and John Andrew Ras with a  astonishing performance from all of us. Such a great wonderful music with the Puretone Band ,graceful MEV Dance Studio dancers and the angelic voice of Miss Silliman University 2018 Oghogho Naomi Ovonlen was a superb performance of the evening. A special song number from stage actor Andy Bais.
Bradley Cooper once said in the movie the “Star was Born” Look, talent comes everywhere, but having something to say and a way to say it so that people listen to it, that’s a whole other bag. And unless you get out and you try to do it, you’ll never know.
