A Promise Kept: The Graceful Union of Jericho and Portia

In the heart of Negros Oriental, under the vaulted ceilings of The Barn at The Mango Ranch, a love story woven by grace reached its beautiful crescendo. On the 11th of August, 2025, Wilhelm Jericho Tiu Suaboksan, a gentleman from Negros, and Portia Bernadette Nemeño Bation, a gifted visual artist from Mindanao, exchanged vows in a ceremony that defined "heaven on earth."

Mr & Mrs Wilhelm Jericho Tiu Suaboksan,

The day stood as an answered prayer—a simple, intimate Christian wedding that bypassed grandiosity in favor of genuine joy. Surrounded by a select group of family and friends, the atmosphere felt like a "new normal" for celebrations, prioritizing connection over convention. While the setting was rustic and elegant, styled by Flora Decor PH, the spirit of the event was grounded in faith, officiated by Ptr. Archie Lim.

One of the most charming departures from tradition was the absence of a tiered wedding cake. Instead, the couple celebrated their union with a traditional eating of burgers, their favorite shared merienda. This personal touch reflected the couple’s authenticity, proving that a wedding is most beautiful when it mirrors the souls of those at the altar.

The evening was a masterclass in musical storytelling. The reception was graced by the legendary Bossa Nova Queen, Sitti Navarro Ramirez, whose velvet vocals set a sophisticated tone. Adding to the prestige, Jericho’s close friend, John Paul Villarino—a standout performer from the Tokyo International Music Festival—serenaded the guests, making the night feel truly world-class. Between the soulful performances of JulsDuo and the heartfelt dances by mothers Flora Joy Suaboksan and Gloria Bation, the air remained thick with love and nostalgia.

Captured through the lenses of MindFlick Productions and Little Picasso, every moment—from the aerial views of Valencia to the delicate printables by Crafts & Creations—was preserved as a testament to their journey. Under the meticulous coordination of Preciosa Weddings, the day flowed with an effortless elegance that left guests in high spirits long after the final dance.

Jericho and Portia’s wedding was not just an event; it was a promise kept. It was a reminder that when two beautiful souls meet, the result is a masterpiece of simplicity, sincerity, and a "forever" that truly began today.
