The event, held at Bay Shores Dumaguete Piapi Beach, was a testament to the impact he has made throughout his years of service. With an impressive resume that includes the present  Executive Director of the Negros Oriental Tourism Board, Assistant Secretary of the Department of Tourism, and Undersecretary of the DOT, Woodrow Maquiling Jr. has truly left his mark on the world of tourism.   Born and raised in Dumaguete Negros Oriental, Woodrow Maquiling Jr. started his journey in the tourism industry as the Tourism Planning officer of the Province and later on   City Tourism Officer of Dumaguete. His passion and dedication to the field led him to take on more significant roles in the Department of Tourism.
