Rotary Club of Bacolod Relief Operations in Negros Oriental

Northern Negros Oriental badly hit by the recently Typhoon Odette in Guihulngan City is left in ruins after it bore the brunt of
Typhoon powerful winds and rains. The city is among the areas in Negros
Oriental that were most badly hit, as it was where the center of Odette made
landfall at around 11:50 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16.
Negrosanons in the northern towns and cities of the
province are still without electricity and drinking water its still a big
problem right now .Most of our civic organizations like Rotary Club of Bacolod relief operations
and medical mission to far-flung places in Negros Island.
Rotary Club of Bacolod in partnership with
Bacolod’s Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade bayanihan spirit brings disaster
relief to Typhoon victims in Brgy. Binobohan, Guihulngan, Negros Oriental this
8th day of January 2022.
The
distribution of about 500 grocery packs, food packs, drinking water, used
children toys and other items was led by Life Changing President Pauline

headed by Marjorie Dino, the Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade headed by PDG Edgar

Alan Gabunales of the 62IB 3ID of the Philippine Army, Brgy. Captain Elmer
Catong, Brgy. Officials, workers and tanods, Ms. Alicia Arquillos, Ms. Helyn
Bardoc, Ms. Vhicky Escoreal, Sierra Echo, Ms. Josephine Escolanacatong and the
the people of Brgy. Binobohan.
About 50 Life
Changing Rotarians, Chamber Volunteer Fire Brigade. Club Secretariat and
volunteers joined the relief operations. This emergency relief effort is also
supported and co-operated by the Rotary International District 3850 under the
leadership of District Governor Edwin To.
