As the nation commemorated the 124th death anniversary of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. The event honored Filipino frontliners in the fight against COVID-19. We see many 'Rizals' fighting for our people, this time against an unseen adversary – a pandemic. We have our brave frontliners who continue to serve the nation in their unique capacities notwithstanding the risks to life and limb. The Knights of Rizal Negros Oriental Area commemorates the 124th Death Anniversary of Dr. Jose Rizal with Dumaguete City Mayor–Hon. Felipe Antonio Remollo and Presidential Legal Counsel–Secretary Salvador Panelo as the guest.The event was attended by the Department Head in the City Government of Dumaguete, Philippine National Police, The Bureau of Fire Protection, and Philippine Army during the flag-raising and floral offering at the Rizal Monument in Quezon Park . In the afternoon a Knighting, Chartering and Awarding Ceremonies at the Col. Roman Yap Hall, Silliman University ROTC
