Dumaguete Presidencia declared 'Important Cultural Property'
The City Government of Dumaguete aims to inspire Dumaguetenons to protect, preserve and promote our Historical significant and outstanding cultural properties in partnership with the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) , concerned public, private, civil society and stakeholders. The original Presidencia or City hall was built in 1937 by the well-known Architect Juan Marcos de Guzmán Arellano, which gives the structure its historical significance and Heritage to the city.
